HEEEE!!! Brilliant.

Reminds me a bit of a potential project I've never actually got round to - one of my filking friends, Phil, gets blamed for a lot of stuff. Mainly for filking other people's stuff... When we were going en masse to the German filk con once, we said we needed a sign (like Japanese tourists follow an umbrella) to keep us together, and it was suggested that we design a Filk Crest, rather like a Roman Legionary standard, which would have had as its motto, instead of SPQR, 'OPCE': Omnis Causae Philippi Est. It's All Phil's Fault.

And now *sigh* I want to redesign that T-shirt. In futhark.

LOL! That standard sounds like a great idea. We should have one for our house that says Omnis Causae Andreas Est (I think?) because my husband Andrew claims that everything is his fault.

Since my Old Norse is (almost certainly) not up to a translation, it'd have to be just a transliteration. I am, however, Very Tempted Indeed. And Vistaprint do 'free' T-shirts...

The filk standard was going to be the filk dandelion (as seen in the centre of this LJ icon, originally designed & disseminated by Kathy Mar), with 'supporters' of a guitar and a harp, I think.
