Lulu is driving me nuts!

Can anyone help me with some understandable and straightforward advice about how the hell you publish a book through Lulu?  The site itself is making me scream with frustration.  I want to buy the distribution service, so that I can get my ISBN before I upload the manuscript - because the manuscript has to have the ISBN on it.  Will it let me do this?  Will it heck!

It's beginning to look as though I'll have to upload the manuscript, publish it as an ebook and then upgrade to distribution afterwards, but that seems just plain stupid.  Anyone out there who has experience of how to do it and can help me out?

Aaarrrgh!

Argh!  Lulu, not only do you slap £5 on the price, but then you tell me I can't get the 'published by Lulu' option because I don't live in the USA.  And *then* you only give me a button to buy the option I can't have, and no way to buy the option I *can* have, which is strangely and coincidentally on special offer today.

You're just lucky I can't get to you with a crowbar, that's all I'm saying!
