It seems it isn't enough for supporters of Prop 8 to ban same sex marriage in California. Now they're trying to get the existing marriages of people who married while it was legal forcibly annulled. See this article on queeractivism 

The California Courage Campaign reports that Ken Starr (of Clinton-Whitewater-Monica-Lewinsky infamy) & the Prop 8 Legal Defense Fund will present their case to the California Supreme Court starting on March 5, 2009 demanding that the Court void 18,000 marriages of same-sex couples that were legally performed between June 16 & November 4, 2008 in that state.

Americans can sign the online petition against this cruel move. Those of us outside the USA, well, I can only suggest that if you haven't already done so, this might be a good time to consider buying the anthology and helping to cut this off at the root.

It's a bit of a milestone :) But with half term coming up for a week from the 16th to the 20th, I think I need to pick up the pace. If I aim to do 2000 words a day I could have it done by the 6th of March and then get onto Dragon of the Fen. Yes, I think that sounds like an idea :)
