Date: 2007-09-28 05:23 pm (UTC)Oh, it seems to be the done thing on mySpace to send your friends big pictures like this one:
to say 'have a good weekend' or 'thank God it's Friday', or 'thinking of you' or whatever, rather than actually using words. Which I thought was quite nice really. (http://www.myspacedev.com/myspace-glitter-graphics/)

Date: 2007-09-29 10:07 am (UTC)Was the book good? It's one I keep thinking I must get, as I find what I've heard about Bligh quite fascinating.

Date: 2007-09-29 05:05 pm (UTC)Apparently it's the first part in a sort of trilogy, along with Men Against the Sea and Pitcairn's Island. Apparently Men Against the Sea has more about Bligh and what happened to his men---Mutiny On the Bounty is told from the POV of a midshipman who stayed with the ship and the mutineers, so Bligh's really only in the beginning of the story.
